Sprague Lake

Hike to Sprague Lake for a spectacular lake vista that includes sights of Rocky Mountain’s highest summit. This circle is only 0.9 miles long, yet it provides a good sample of the spectacular views that Rocky Mountain Park is known for.

Bierstadt Lake

Bierstadt Lake is a 3.2-mile roundtrip novice trek with some elevation increase within the first mile, making it ideal for beginners looking for a short distance challenge. Once you’ve arrived at the lake, take a stroll around the lake circle trail. The vista of snow capped mountains from the other side of the lake is breathtaking.

Ute Trail

Some of the nicest views of the Rocky Mountains tallest peaks may be found on this alpine trail. The park now has two portions of the Ute Trail, which are not connected. Alternatively, go to the Ute Crossing Trailhead to trek the other section. The fact that the entire track is above the treeline is a huge plus for this beginner trek and Beginner Hiking Trails .
