In later years we saw a negative transformation of Aerys. He turned a paranoid and cruel king. He killed Rickard Stark, Eddard Stark’s father, and Brandon, his son, when they demanded justice.

The justice demanded when Lyanna Stark got kidnapped by Rhaegar, son of Aerys. In reality, it was a consensual lover’s decision, and we are aware of the irony. Sir. Jaime Lannister, his member guard, killed Aerys. With this, the end of Targaryen ruling happened.

Rhaegar Targaryen

Rhaegar Targaryen was the first child of Aerys II, a handsome and bold knight with a lady killer look. He remained popular among Westeros Women. Moreover, the Game of Thrones wanted him to go in the wrong way.

He married Elia Martell, but he was madly in love with Lyanna Stark. Lyanna was the sister of Eddard Stark besides being a wife to Robert Baratheon.

The passion of love encouraged the lovebirds to flee. They got married, maintaining secrecy. People through Rhaegar kidnapped Lyanna, and war broke out based on a lie.

Robert Baratheon killed Rhaegar in the Battle of the Trident. At the same time, Lyanna died after giving birth to their son, Aegon Targaryen. Before she dies, Lyanna requests Eddard to take care of her son. He did and raised him as his illegal son, Jon Snow, in place of royal heir which he was actually.

Wife of Rhaegar, Elia Martell, got raped brutally before Sir Gregor Clegane killed her. Therefore It happened at the time of Sack of King’s Landing. Both children killed along with Rhaegar, turning Jon Snow as the solo Targaryen heir.

Viserys Targaryen

Viserys was Aerys II’s Second son. He remained ambitious yet cruel and theoretically raised his own younger sister, Daenerys. The upbringing never happened in a healthy manner.

Therefore He, along with his sister, exiled from the Seven Kingdoms when their father, Aerys, was overthrown. The brother-sister duo grew up hiding from the enemies. Viserys determined to grab the Iron Throne. Thus, Dany’s childhood was an abusing one.

Therefore In reality, he sold out his sister to Khal Drogo, the warlord, for acquiring the support of his people. Later Viserys realized that Dany is earning the royal treatment which he desired for.

He turned mad and out of anger, Therefore Khal Drogo poured on his head a crown made of melting gold. He was killed right in front of his sister Daenerys.

Daenerys Targaryen

Daenerys Targaryen was Aerys II’s youngest daughter.Therefore But She came to the world in exile when Robert’s Rebellion, was at its end. There was a severe storm when she was born and she got the nickname “Daenerys Stormborn”.

We already mentioned she and his elder brother Viserys grew up in exile. She was later abused and treated badly by his brother. For him, she was an opportunity to earn allies to grab the throne.

She married Khal Drogo and witness her brother’s death. Therefore Daenerys realized her hidden confidence and turned her the mistress of her fate. She got the support of actual dragons; and turned ‘Mother of Dragons’. Therefore This made her a badass. Therefore Daenerys was adamant to grab the throne. She traveled across the continent, get an army, and more support than imagined by her.

Dany reached Westeros and seduced Jon Snow. He was her nephew. Therefore the death of two dragons, best friend, Missandei, and her advisor, Jorah Mormont depressed her. She realized Jon Snow’s threat of Throne, and that made her mad, like her father.

Therefore She followed the path of devastation before finally getting ready to grab the throne. The story ended with a tragedy as Jon, killed for protecting the Seven Kingdoms.

Jon Snow, Alas Aegon Targaryen

We all know how Jon was born and his upbringing as a bastard child of Lord Eddard Stark in Winterfell. Eddard never uttered anything about his mother. Therefore This made him and others believe him as a commoner.

In Jon’s journey, we witness that he fulfills his duty with perfection as Night’s Watch guard. Therefore He gained the confidence to transform from a self-doubting bastard to a courageous and brave commander. Therefore his final lineage got confirmed in the last episode of Season 7.
